Portraits… is my first independent solo album. As my first full-length home-studio project, the production is admittedly a bit ‘raw’ and ‘grainy’, though in some ways that lends to the minimalist charm of the album. Portraits… was me coming into my own ‘voice’ and succumbing to the need to share music with the world. As such, I thought a twist on the title of a James Joyce novel would be fitting for the album name. I released Portraits… in January 2009.
